We sourced this barn beam and flooring from a local farm in Clifford, Ontario. It’s always fun getting to work with wood that’s already served its purpose and now gets to be reused in a beautiful home!

For the floating shelves, we used HOVR shelf brackets to provide sturdy support. These brackets are both easy to install and ensure that the shelves are securely attached to the wall, providing peace of mind for our clients. One 4ft bracket is rated to a 300lb capacity on an 8” deep shelf; this ensures that over time, unlike fast furniture floating shelves, these will never sag or loosen. This amazing system also ensures the shelves can easily be removed and reinstalled in a new location if they are ever needing to be repurposed.
